The "sisters"...
The sound of "be all you can be" is ringing in my ears. My 23 year old son, the baby in the family has joined the Army.
I didn't think I would ever write these words on a piece of paper or hear myself say it but he did it. He's proud of his decision and as his mother I am proud of him. I am not happy that he felt this was all he could do to achieve the things in life that he wants. So we are a military family now.
He is departing on the 3rd of April, which is next Thursday morning for Missouri, the show me state. He will be there for 19 weeks. He has chosen "Military Police" as his career.
David, my son, we love you and we are proud of you and wish you every success as you embark on a wonderful career.
