Where did the year go? It seems like yesterday we were sitting in the hospital waiting room awaiting his arrival. His mother and father anticipating with every push and then he was here. The color of a new penny all bronze and beautiful with a soft cry that sounded like a purr. His eyes open wide to great the world and he was swaddled by his mother and then his father. The look of joy on my daughter's face when she gazed at him, picked him up and hugged and kissed him for the first time. I am reminded of my first meeting with him just minutes after his birth. The fullness in my bossom, the tears of joy rolling down my face and the smile i felt as I welcomed the 4th generation to our family. I also recited his lineage to him.. because he comes from a long line of beautiful queens and handsome kings on our side of the family. Today is his first birthday.. he has put his footprint on all our hearts. Happy 1st Birthday Jaidin!! Mom-mom loves you.
