June has arrived and while it markes the first 6 months of this year, it definitely marks the end of a milestone for my grand-daughter, the next to the oldest, the 14.5 year old. Next week she will be graduating from middle school and embarking on the road to true adulthood. She is starting high school.
She has picked her classes, had decided what she wants to do and how she is going to do it. She went to her first dance, middle school dance and met up with her friends. Everyone was taken aback by how she looked.
She is the tomboy, the duckling (not ugly) but one who doesn't do the "frilly thing, or didn't until she saw the pics of her before she left to go to the dance. Now it's all i can do to keep her from making a long list of things that "she must have" and "can't do without."
